Pirelli's SmartNET Silica technology combined with tubeless-ready comfort and Armour Tech resistance creates a clincher tyre suited to long distances and varied terrains.

Armour Tech construction

From inside to outside, added to the 60 TPI nylon casing:

• High density nylon layer from bead to bead — protects against cuts, improves stability at low pressure, and helps make the carcass airtight when used with liquid sealant
• High density waved aramid fibre breaker belt under the tread — protection against punctures and sharp object cuts
• Aramid fibres in the tread rubber compound (SmartNET Silica) in two layers: an outer cap for dry and wet grip, mileage and contact feel; an inner base that slows penetration of foreign bodies
