The pedal is then fully CNC machined to remove as much material as possible. Internally, a short cromoly axle with an inboard hollow cut-out further reduces the overall weight to just 394g.Proprietary Binding: The Renthal developed binding uses easy entry geometry. This allows the rear jaw to move down and away from the cleat on engagement. The effect is a reduction in the force required to engage the cleat for a given spring tension. The bindings feature a huge range of spring tension to suit any rider's preference. Renthal bindings are fully SPD compatible.Axle System: The patent-pending axle system, featured in the Revo-TRC, allows full home servicing, using standard tools found in anyone's toolkit. All that is required is a 6mm and 8mm hex-key, a standard 8mm socket, a torque wrench and a mallet. The unique system uses the axle to both remove and reinstall the bushings. The bearings are also pressed into place, using the pedal internals.Durable Internals: The Revo-TRC spins on an inboard Igus bush, which is sealed against the elements with a full-contact wiper seal. Centrally mounted, there are three cartridge bearings, directly in line with pedalling forces, to massively increase durability.
