The left brake lever Shimano Deore XT M8200 is made of aluminium alloy, the BL-M8200 has been refined with evolved ergonomics and the human hand in mind, providing powerful pull with consistent lever feel and modulation for ultimate control. A new closer pivot point follows the natural arc of the finger, while the reach adjustment places the rider in a natural position to tackle technical trail sections.

The new SERVO WAVE design optimises the power curve and manages pad-rotor friction throughout the lever stroke for more balanced braking, while Shimano's new low-viscosity mineral oil maintains consistent power over a wide temperature range.
