Pinnacle Arkose 1 Gravel Bike

About the Pinnacle Arkose 1 Whether casually riding off into the sunset, out with the weekend gang or on a solo adventure, the Pinnacle Arkose excels in versatility. Don’t be fooled by the gravel name, this is a bike that lives for the tarmac as much as the off-road lumps, bumps and rougher surfaces. At the heart of the Arkose is a strong and reliable aluminium frame while lightweight full carbon forks can accommodate mudguard mounts for those gravel days in the saddle. If you’re new to drop bar riding then the 8-speed Shimano Claris groupset offers up an excellent starting point and the inclusion of Tektro MD-C510 flat mount mechanical disc brakes disc brakes bring added confidence across various terrains and weather conditions. When you’re mixing up the terrains then you need a pair of tyres you can rely and in all weathers, which is exactly what the WTB Resolute 42mm offer up. The Independent's best gravel bike for £1000 or under: ' If you’re looking for a budget-friendly gravel bike to get out and about on, this capable machine from Pinnacle has got everything you need.'
