Shimano RD-M8250 Di2 Wireless Deore XT 12 Speed Rear Derailleur - SGS

Shimano's RD-M8250 Di2 Wireless Deore XT 12-Speed Rear Derailleur delivers precise wireless shifting with a rugged, zero-maintenance design built for trail conditions. Its Shadow ES system improves chain control and impact resistance, while offering compatibility with wide-range 12-speed cassettes.

Key Features and Benefits:

• Wireless Shadow ES system with integrated battery: This design removes the need for shift cables and uses a battery housed inside the derailleur linkage.
• The battery is protected from damage, while the wireless setup simplifies installation and reduces maintenance.
• Dual-spring chain stabilisation with increased chain wrap: Two internal springs deliver 70% more chain tension and a tighter wrap around the cassette.
• This keeps the chain firmly in place, reduces bounce, and prevents skipping as cogs wear.
• Crash recovery function: If the derailleur is hit during a ride, it absorbs the impact and returns to position automatically.
• This helps protect internal parts and preserves shifting accuracy after collisions.
• Choice of GS and SGS cage lengths: The GS model supports 9-45T cassettes, while the SGS version supports up to 10-51T.
• Riders can select the best fit for their gearing setup without compromising compatibility or performance.
• Compact drive GS design with 23mm more clearance: The shorter cage offers improved ground clearance, reducing the chance of strikes on rocks and roots.
• It also trims weight for better drivetrain efficiency and handling.
• Cold-forged alloy construction with fluorine-coated bushings: Durable materials and low-friction bushings increase stiffness and long-term performance.
• This results in smoother shifting and longer service life, without added maintenance.
• The Shimano RD-M8250 Di2 Wireless Deore XT Derailleur gives you fast, consistent shifting in demanding terrain without the need for ongoing adjustment.
• The dual-spring stabilisation and tighter chain wrap offer reliable drivetrain engagement even on worn cassettes.
• Combined with wireless connectivity and crash-resistant structure, this makes it well-suited for riders who want dependable shifting with less hassle.
• Upgrade to a drivetrain solution that combines mechanical stability, low upkeep, and modern shifting control.
• The RD-M8250 is built to perform under pressure and delivers consistent results ride after ride.
• Battery sold separately.
