Bell Full-Air MIPS Full Face Helmet - Black / Grey

The Bell Full-Air MIPS Full Face Helmet is a lightweight, ventilated full-face helmet that blends downhill-level protection with the comfort needed for pedalling. It meets ASTM DH certification standards while maintaining an open, breathable design that keeps airflow high on climbs. The advanced Mips Evolve system adds rotational impact protection, and the modular cheek pad design lets you adjust airflow or coverage. A Fidlock magnetic buckle and integrated camera mount complete a design built for long days on the bike.Key Features and Benefits:Advanced Mips Evolve system: A low-friction layer inside the helmet allows slight movement between the head and helmet during angled impacts, reducing rotational forces. This helps limit energy transfer to the brain, improving protection in real-world crash scenarios.ASTM F1952-15 DH certification: Built and tested to downhill standards, the helmet meets strict impact requirements. This ensures you get full-face protection suitable for aggressive riding and higher speeds.Dual density EPS fusion foam: Two foam densities are combined to manage both high and low energy impacts. This spreads impact forces more effectively, improving safety across varied crash conditions.In-mould polycarbonate shell: The outer shell is bonded directly to the EPS liner to increase structural strength without adding weight. This creates a durable helmet that stays lightweight and comfortable on long rides.Highly ventilated full-face design: Large intake and exhaust ports allow consistent airflow through the helmet. This helps regulate temperature and reduces heat build-up during climbs and steady efforts.Modular cheek pad system: Removable sections let you increase airflow or add coverage as needed. This gives you control over comfort and protection depending on ride conditions.Fidlock magnetic buckle: A self-aligning magnetic closure allows quick and secure fastening, even with gloves. This makes it easier to adjust and remove the helmet during stops.Breakaway under-visor camera/light mount: An integrated mount holds an action camera or light securely, with a breakaway design for safety. This allows you to record rides or add visibility without extra attachments. This helmet supports riders who want full-face protection without the usual weight and heat. The combination of strong ventilation, adjustable fit, and certified impact protection means you can pedal efficiently and still have confidence on technical descents. Features like the Mips system and dual density foam work together to manage impact forces, while the adaptable cheek pads and airflow design keep comfort consistent across varied terrain.A design that balances protection, airflow, and ease of use makes this a practical choice for long trail rides and demanding descents. It gives you the coverage of a full-face with the comfort needed to stay on the bike all day.
