Continental Xynotal Tyre - 29 InchDownhill - Supersoft - Folding Bead2.4 Inch

The Continental Xynotal Tyre is built for riders who demand confident handling on hard terrain. Developed through Continental's Gravity range programme, it delivers precise control, predictable grip, and efficient rolling for downhill, enduro, and trail use. Designed for durability and tuned to the needs of gravity riders, it lets you push your limits with complete trust in every turn.Key Features and Benefits:Angled in-line shoulder studs: Designed for smooth and predictable transitions through corners. This feature ensures riders can reach the tyre's traction limit with confidence, maintaining stability and safety on hard-packed or mixed terrain.Pronounced positive tread profile: A dense pattern of contact points creates a stable and grippy surface. This enhances traction and control, giving riders consistent feedback and a balanced ride across rocky and compact ground.Directional ramped tread blocks: The ramps aid forward motion and reduce drag while maintaining grip. This results in a faster, more fluid roll on hard terrain without compromising traction under braking or load.Tubeless-ready folding bead: Enables easy conversion to a tubeless setup for reduced weight and fewer punctures. The outcome is a more reliable and responsive ride with improved comfort and performance.Three compound options - SuperSoft, Soft, and Endurance: Each compound is tuned for specific terrain and riding style. Riders can select the best balance of grip, speed, and durability to suit their preferred setup.DH, Enduro, and Trail casing choices: Tailored casings provide the right level of protection and support for different disciplines. This flexibility ensures durability for aggressive downhill lines and compliance for trail riding.6-ply DH casing construction: Eliminates the need for tyre liners while providing exceptional puncture resistance. The result is dependable performance even in harsh, rocky environments.E-rated up to 25 kph: Tested and approved for e-MTBs, ensuring strength and stability under higher loads. This makes the tyre ideal for both analogue and electric gravity bikes. The Xynotal focuses on controlled handling and reliable grip on harder terrain. Its tread layout and compounds work together to maximise traction and speed, allowing riders to maintain consistent performance through fast sections and rough ground. The robust casing options and precise tread shaping make it a dependable choice for those who ride hard and value stability over unpredictability.Built for riders who value confidence, traction, and control on hard terrain, the Continental Xynotal Tyre delivers consistent grip, efficient rolling, and lasting strength for every gravity session.Compound Options:SuperSoft Compound: Continental's softest rubber blend designed for maximum traction. Uses a low-durometer formula that deforms easily over rocks and roots. The result is exceptional cornering grip and braking control on steep or technical descents — ideal for front-wheel use in downhill or enduro setups.Soft Compound: A balanced mix of grip, damping, and durability. Provides reliable traction with smoother rolling and slower wear than SuperSoft. Perfect for riders who want strong all-round performance for enduro and trail riding across mixed or hard terrain.Endurance Compound: A tougher, longer-lasting rubber blend optimised for efficiency and mileage. Reduces rolling resistance and resists abrasion under load. Best suited to rear tyres or e-MTBs where durability and long-term consistency are key.Casing Options:Downhill (DH): Heavy-duty 6-ply build with Apex sidewall reinforcement for maximum protection. Offers outstanding puncture resistance and stability at lower pressures, ensuring control and reliability on aggressive descents or bike-park terrain.Enduro: Multi-ply design with reinforced Apex sidewalls that balance strength and flexibility. Provides dependable support with reduced weight compared to DH, making it ideal for racing and mixed technical terrain.Trail: Lightweight and more supple construction focused on rolling speed and comfort. Maintains adequate sidewall stability for everyday trail and all-mountain riding, giving an efficient yet controlled ride feel.
