"Cube Acid 260 Disc 26" Kids Bike - 2027" - Action Team

The Cube Acid 260 Disc 26" Kids Bike - 2027 is a trail-ready mountain bike built around the needs of younger riders. Its heat-treated, double-butted 6061 aluminium frame uses the same construction methods as Cube's adult bikes. An 80mm suspension fork adds control on rough ground, while Shimano 16-speed gears give a useful range for climbs and flatter trails. Hydraulic disc brakes provide strong and easy-to-control stopping power.

Key Features and Benefits:

• Heat-treated 6061 aluminium frame: Cube uses mechanically formed, double-butted Aluminium Lite tubing to keep the frame strong without excess weight.
• The tubes use material where it is needed most, which helps create a durable frame that is easier for a young rider to handle.
• SR Suntour XCE fork with 80mm travel: The suspension fork compresses when the front wheel hits roots, stones and rough ground.
• This reduces harsh impacts at the handlebar and helps the front tyre stay in contact with the trail, giving the rider more comfort and control.
• Shimano 16-speed drivetrain: A 2x8 Shimano setup combines a 36/22T crankset with a 12-32T cassette.
• The wide choice of gears helps younger riders find a suitable gear for steeper climbs, level trails and faster sections without making gear selection difficult.
• Shimano hydraulic disc brakes: Shimano BR-MT200/UR300 brakes use 160mm rotors and hydraulic pressure to deliver smooth braking with less effort at the lever.
• This gives smaller hands more control over speed and helps the rider brake with confidence on changing terrain.
• Agile Ride Geometry and 26" format: The frame geometry is scaled for younger riders rather than adapted from a full-size adult bike.
• This creates a riding position that supports easier steering, stable handling and better control as trail skills develop.
• Replaceable gear hanger: The rear derailleur is mounted to a replaceable hanger that can help protect the frame and derailleur after an impact.
• If the hanger is damaged, it can be replaced as a separate part, which can make repairs simpler and more cost-effective.
• The Acid 260 Disc gives a developing rider a mountain bike that fits their size while still using proper trail components.
• Its scaled frame and controls help make the bike easier to manage, while the suspension, wide gear range and hydraulic brakes support more technical riding as skills improve.
• The result is a bike that can handle both regular family rides and more demanding off-road use.
• For a young rider ready to move onto a capable 26" mountain bike, the Cube Acid 260 Disc offers the control, durability and trail-focused equipment needed to keep progressing.
