The Giro Fixture MIPS II Youth Helmet is a trail-ready cycling helmet designed to deliver dependable protection, secure fit, and effective ventilation at an accessible price point. Built using in-mould construction and equipped with MIPS technology, it combines impact management with lightweight comfort for everyday riding. An updated shape improves airflow, while the Roc Loc Sport fit system allows fast adjustment for growing riders. Reflective details and Universal Fit sizing complete a design focused on safety, comfort, and practicality across both off-road rides and everyday cycling.Key Features and Benefits:MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System): A low-friction internal layer allows the helmet to move slightly during certain angled impacts, helping reduce rotational forces transferred to the head. This added protection supports safer riding by addressing impact types common in real-world crashes.In-Mould Construction: The polycarbonate outer shell is permanently fused to the impact-absorbing foam liner during manufacturing. This creates a lighter structure with improved strength and allows larger ventilation channels, helping reduce weight while keeping airflow consistent for cooler riding comfort.Roc Loc Sport Fit System: A rear adjustment dial provides one-handed tuning with up to 7cm of adjustment range. The precise click mechanism helps achieve a stable and secure fit quickly, improving helmet retention and reducing movement during uneven terrain riding.Revised Ventilation Design: Updated internal channelling improves airflow through the helmet. Increased cooling efficiency helps manage heat build-up, supporting comfort during longer rides and reducing distraction caused by overheating.Reflective Rear Details: Integrated reflective decals return light toward its source when illuminated by headlights or other light sources. This improves rider visibility in low-light conditions, helping others recognise movement earlier and increasing awareness on shared paths or roads.Universal Fit Sizing - Universal Youth (Ages 5+) 50-57cm: Giro's sculpted shell design works alongside the adjustable fit system to suit a wide range of head shapes straight out of the box. This simplifies sizing, reduces fitting issues, and ensures consistent comfort without repeated adjustments or multiple size trials.Reliable protection and comfort are essential when choosing a youth helmet, especially for regular riding across mixed terrain. The Fixture MIPS II Youth Helmet focuses on secure fit stability, effective airflow, and practical safety features that support consistent use. Lightweight construction reduces neck fatigue, while precise adjustment helps maintain correct positioning throughout a ride. Visibility features and durable materials further support everyday reliability without adding complexity.A helmet that fits well, stays comfortable, and provides trusted protection encourages regular use and confidence on every ride. The Giro Fixture MIPS II Youth Helmet brings proven safety technology, straightforward adjustment, and durable construction together in a design that makes it easy to choose for everyday cycling.
