Marin Bear Valley 24 Kids Bike - 2026 - Purple / Magenta

The Marin Bear Valley 24 Kids Bike - 2026 is a lightweight trail bike built to give young riders stable and direct control. Its Series 2 aluminium frame and Seuse proper mountain bike geometry for balanced handling. Wide-range MicroSHIFT gears, hydraulic disc brakes and child-sized parts make the bike easy to control on varied terrain.Key Features and Benefits:Series 2 aluminium frame and fork: The lightweight frame has a low standover height and geometry made for trail riding. The matching rigid aluminium fork gives direct steering with no extra suspension weight. This helps young riders control the bike and change direction with less effort.MicroSHIFT Acolyte 1x8 transmission: The single-chainring system removes the need for a front shifter. Its 12-42T cassette gives a wide gear range for climbs, flat trails and faster sections. The clutch rear derailleur also limits chain movement, which helps keep the chain secure on rough ground.Tektro hydraulic disc brakes: The HD-J285 brakes use child-specific, short-reach alloy levers. The hydraulic system delivers strong braking with less hand force than a basic cable brake. Young riders can reach the levers with ease and control their speed with greater accuracy.24x2.25in mountain bike tyres: The wide tyres combine a fast-rolling profile with useful grip on loose or uneven surfaces. Their extra volume also adds comfort and stability. Double-wall aluminium rims provide a strong base for regular trail use.Child-sized cockpit controls: The 580mm Marin riser bar, thin grips and short-reach shifter suit smaller hands and shoulders. A compact 40mm stem keeps the controls within easy reach. This creates a natural riding position and makes steering, braking and shifting easier to manage.Forged alloy child-sized crankset: The 130mm crank arms reduce the size of each pedal rotation for shorter legs. A 30T chainring works with the wide-range cassette to provide practical trail gearing. The fitted ring guard also helps protect clothing and the chainring during everyday use.The Bear Valley 24 helps young riders build trail skills on a bike that responds to smaller hands and lighter body weight. Its low frame, compact controls and balanced geometry reduce the effort needed to steer and stop. The simple drivetrain also lets the rider focus on line choice and bike control instead of complex gear changes.Choose the Marin Bear Valley 24 for a young rider who needs a focused trail bike with dependable brakes, simple gears and correctly sized controls. Its lightweight build and practical mountain bike specification provide a solid platform for regular off-road riding.
