Maxxis Assegai Downhill 29x2.50 WT 50 TPI tyre

The Maxxis Assegai Downhill Tyre 29x2.50 WT 50 TPI takes its name from the iron-tipped spear used by the Zulu people of South Africa. Greg Minnaar, three-time Downhill World Champion and native of South Africa, thought it was a fitting name for a tyre ready to battle on the mountain.

The tall knobs attack dust and dirt to find traction, while also providing support and confidence on wet roots and rocks. Whereas other tyres excel only in certain conditions, the new Assegai is designed to go fast everywhere.
