Is a Rapha jacket worth buying on sale?

Usually, yes. Outerwear gets the most use of any cycling kit, and Rapha offers free repairs with proof of purchase. A winter or rain jacket at 25% off or more is one of the better Rapha buys.

Should I buy a gilet or a jacket?

A gilet is enough for spring and autumn if you run warm. If you ride through winter or in the rain, you need a proper jacket. Many riders end up with both.

When are Rapha jackets cheapest?

Black Friday (27 November in 2026) and the end-of-season Archive Sale have historically had the biggest outerwear discounts. In 2024 and 2025 Rapha ran 25% off sitewide for Black Friday (past offers).
